Mary Jo is a copyeditor, proofreader, production coordinator, and customer service representative at G&H SOHO.
Mary Jo grew up in Oyster Bay, Long Island, surrounded by books. Her mother owned a small bookstore in town. She pursued this "book theme" by working as a librarian, then moved into book publishing. Prior to working at G&H SOHO, Mary Jo worked for ten years for Penguin Putnam Publisher in New York City, where she was Assistant Managing Editor at Dial Books for Young Readers.
The lure of working for a small, congenial company brought Mary Jo to G&H SOHO. She has one of the shortest commutes of any G&H SOHO employee. Mary Jo lives three blocks away in Hoboken with her husband John and sons Jeremy and Tim.
