HALFTONES

1. B&W and color images should be scanned at 300 dpi from a glossy or saved at the highest resolution on your camera
2. B&W halftones must be scanned/saved as grayscale .tif or .jpg
3. Color images must be scanned/saved as CMYK .tif or .jpg
4. If possible, images should be scanned at the final size as they will appear in the text or cover
5. Make sure that these images are embedded in the print ready pdf when submitting the text files to print

LINE ART

1. B&W line should be scanned/saved at 600 – 900 dpi bitmap
2. Line art should be scanned at the final size as they will appear in the text
